We were all expecting the PSP Go battery life to be at least an inprovement over the PSP 3000, thanks to the additions of the UMD drive. But not so it appears. Sony published recently the same battery life times for the PSP Go as the old PSP 3000, that is to say:
3 to 6 hours for games
3 to 5 hours for video playback
This is due to the fact that Sony reduced the battery size to save space and weight, while embedding the battery making it difficult to replace it without completely dismantleling the little fellah. This means NO more replacement battery pack for those long holiday journeys. So the advise is: if you want more portable power … buy another console !!
